Thirty-two years Later - Rear Port side view of USAF B-52H Stratofortress 60-0002 Cn 464367 (with wheels and flaps retracted) during a flypast in overcast conditions at the 2015 Avalon International Airshow at Avalon Airport (YMAV) on 27Feb2015. I first saw a B-52 flypast - by USAF B-52D 55-0084 (with wheels and flaps extended) - at the Schofields Airshow (YSFS) on 20Mar1983. (The Foreward in a book about the 1988 Richmond Bi-Centennial Airshow ‘waxed lyrical’ about that rain-soaked B-52 flypast in March 1983 – Believed to be the First B-52 Airshow Flypast in Eastern Australia.)
