It was great to see this old ex-Department of Civil Aviation Aero Commander still going strong. Purchased new by DCA and registered VH-CAX on 27 January 1960. It was sold in April 1983 and has passed through several hands, including a complete rebuild in the early 2000s. Currently based at Wedderburn, NSW. Seen here at the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia's 40th Anniversary Fly-in.
