Since 2009 I’m a plane spotter, with passion. One year earlier, more specifically on 30/04/2008, this Airbus A340-600 was ferried to Basel for interior Finishing. Owner was Saad Air respective Saad Group. In 2009 the Group was struggling and had a rough time. This has eventually led to that VP-CCC was never completed. On the 12th of February, the time was come, that this airplane take off to a test flight with the registration 4K-AI08 (AZAL Azerbaijan Airlines). After nearly 3 hours of test flight, some spotters where able to take pictures of this beauty at best weather conditions, as she’s approaching for touch down. Not many have expected this moment, but I witnessed this wonderful moment.
