Notes:

Forward fuselage of WB491 Cn 1396, the only surviving Avro Ashton jet airliner research aircraft on display outdoors at Newark Air Museum on 02Jul2012. The aircraft was originally fitted with four Nene engines mounted in pairs in two under-wing nacelles. This Avro Ashton Mk2 (converted Avro Tudor Mk2 G-AJJW) was one of six Ashtons used by the Royal Aircraft Establishment to research jet airliner design in the early 1950s.
