Now this is what aviation photography in Vegas is all about! 1's departures in beautiful morning light with the famous Vegas strip as the backdrop. Before our flight to Seattle we managed an hour's shooting and was gifted shots like this one... Here is a Southwest 737-300 departing out of KLAS leaving a huge amount of jetwash in it's wake. In the background the MGM, New York New York, The Monte Carlo and even the Hooters hotel/casino's can be seen. One of my favorite spots to photograph from in the world i have to say. (7D/100-400LIS)
