HS-UTR departing in gorgeous early morning light illuminating all the features of this great old classic and its P&W JT9D engines. It was withdrawn from service later that year. This bird was originally delivered to Japan Airlines as JA8150 before being transferred to the JALways subsidiary where it wore the purple “Reso'cha” livery. It was delivered to OX in early 2008. Sadly as of June 2012 it’s still parked at the old Don Muang airport rotting away.
