Notes:

CVN-68 Nimitz hasn't been an usual visitor to Palma as it belongs to the Pacific fleet. Here the prow with lots of A-7s and some F-14s as well as EA-6B and E-2C. The first F-14 in sight is AJ-204 from VF-84, the popular squadron "Jolly Rogers" which was alive from 1955 to 1995. After deactivation of VF-84 the VF-103 Sluggers changed their squadron's name and insignia to that of the Jolly Rogers. This also was the last cruise of the VF-84 on the CVN-68 (Dec.1987-June 1988).
