New 2OCU F/A-18B Hornet A21-101 at RAAF Fairbairn on 23May1985. A21-101 was the First of three newly acquired F/A-18Bs which were demonstrated to Air Force personnel that day, including a demo flight for the Minister for Defence (Hon. Kim Beazley) in F/A-18B A21-103. This photo pre-dates the application of the Tiger Head (Unit logo) on the 2OCU fin flash. (A21-101 and A21-102 crossed the Pacific from NAS Lemoore in California to Williamtown NSW in 15 hours on 17May1985.)
