Built to a Marine Luchtvaart Dienst order in 1940 and shipped to the Netherlands East Indies. Evacuated to Australia by ship in Feb 1942 & held by the RAAF as a spare airframe. Sold at disposals in Mar 1945 to Brown & Dureau. Registered VH-AHE 27 Aug 1947 but cancelled in Oct. Re-registered 14 Apr 1948. Crashed 15 Nov 1952 & SOR 27 Jan 1956. Rebuilt 1998-2000 at Bankstown - registered VH-RSY(3) on 17 Aug 1999: first flight 14 Jun 2000. Seen here at the start of the RAAF 90th Anniversary Air Pilgrimage.
