Notes:

Mirages A3-73 and A3-65 share the 75 Squadron apron with a 75KVA Ground Power Unit at RAAF Base Darwin in 1984. The closer aircraft: A3-73 has a 75 Squadron tail flash – while A3-65 has a 2OCU tail flash. (A3-73 was built by GAF in Feb 1967.) The apron is actually made of inter-locking aluminium alloy panels, in lieu of the usual bitumen or concrete. (Note iconic water tower at rear.) Low res photo. RAAF Mirage IIIOF/A A3-73, in 77 Squadron camo livery, appears on the ‘Mirage Medallion’ in the ‘Air Force 100 Limited Edition Medallion Set of 6’, released for the RAAF 100th Anniversary on 31Mar2021.
