The new tower opened May 3, 2011, high 53 meters, consists of 13 floors, which are distributed in the different rooms: the two main halls of the tower (Twr) and approach (App-approach), more room for back-up , simulation and training rooms and spaces with technical equipment and rest. The total investment of ENAV was 35 million. The airport has been equipped with advanced technologies and systems that allow it to be among the most advanced airports in the world. The workstations are equipped with the most advanced technology available, with the aim of carrying out air traffic services at the highest levels of security: surface radar, approach radar, aeronautical information interface, remote control and monitoring system, visual aid lighting systems automated weather frequencies and / multif phones operating system.
