This photo was uploaded as a tribute to the late Col Pay, who died in an aircraft accident at Lake Liddell, near Muswellbrook NSW on 07Dec 2007. This rare front view photo shows his Mustang (ex RAAF A68-107), parked in the rain with Col in the cockpit, at the washed-out Schofields Air Show (held at HMAS Nirimba) in Mar 1983. Col flew his Mustang to many Air Shows from Scone NSW, whether it was raining or sunny. (A USAF B-52 flypast was the draw-card that day). Low res photo.
