Notes:

Close cropped view of RAF Lancaster B1 Code AR-G ('G for George') - operated by RAAF 460 Squadron in WWII - on display in the Australian War Memorial (AWM) Anzac Hall in May 2008. The aircraft wears RAF Serial W4783, but was taken on charge by the RAAF as A66-2, for a tour of Australia in 1945. This aircraft completed 89 operational missions from RAF Breighton and Binbrook UK in WWII (but she has 90 mission symbols painted on the nose.) Anzac Hall opened in 2001, and since 2003 'G for George' has been the centre-piece of the WWII Bomber Command display 'Striking by Night'.
