R4118. Built by the Gloster Aircraft Co Ltd. This particular Hurricane was delivered to 605 (County of Warwick) Squadron in August 1940. She flew 49 sorties from Croydon Airfield during the Battle of Britain and shot down five enemy Aircraft. She is fitted with a Rolls-Royce Merlin III engine and is the only Hurricane from the Battle of Britain still flying. This Aircraft is painted in its original Battle of Britain colour scheme and Squadron markings.
