Many years after 70501's dramatic appearance in Sweden, the type can be seen on many airports around, used for parachuting. Back in 1987 this one was used by its pilot to escape from Soviet but ran out of fuel outside Gotland and ditched. Recovered and sold as scrap but rescued by a museum in Kalmar and later sold to the museum at VBY. Note the agricultular device on the ground as well as the damaged prop. [Provia 100 slide]
