As well as the aircraft, the background also interested me in similar fashion. There is a HS748 (S2-ADW), an Il-18 (EX-059), a 743 (TF-ARS), a 742 (5N-DKB) and a F28 (???) there. From my limited knowledge of Hindi, I think "Gagandoot" (written on the nose) means something like "Air Envoy". I am sure my Hindi speaking friends will correct me if I am wrong ;o)

Thats a beautiful shot Aziz, and you are right with the meaning of 'Gagandoot'. But the literal meaning is 'Sky Angel'. Interesting traffic in the background...
