Rare low res close-cropped Rear View of RAN Fairey Gannet AS.1 XG789 Cn F.9357 Code M841 on outdoor display (with wings folded) at the Moorabbin Aviation Museum (MAM) in early 1974. This Gannet was delivered to the RAN in Glasgow Scotland in Sep 1958, and withdrawn from Service on 15Aug1967. She has remained outdoors since being acquired from Bankstown by the MAM. The aircraft, one of five left in Australia, was transported from Sydney to Melbourne for the MAM aboard HMAS SYDNEY. Apologies for quality of this 1974 photo.
