Back in the olden days, if i plane went tech they didnt use a cargo plane to carry a engine to a aircraft a million miles away. They used to strap the engine under the wing, shown on this B742 taxiing out at LHR. This aircraft has been with the following airlines in order: Egyptair, Nigeria Airways, Air Inter, Nigeria Airways, Air India, Philippine Airlines, Air France, Philippine Airlines, Middle East Airlines, Garuda, Middle East Airlines, Philippine Airlines, Middle East Airlines, Kalitta American Int'l Airways and finally and still currently flying, Kalitta Air.
