The historic Final Flight of a Caribou in RAAF Service (and world's last Service Caribou flight). Caribou A4-140 Cn 140, Delivered to 38 Squadron in March 1964, Retired on 27Nov2009 after 45 years faithful service. The 38 Squadron Caribou did a Flypast over the Australian War Memorial (AWM) and Canberra Airport before its final landing. The aircraft, with special Retirement logos on tail and nose, taxies in for handover to the AWM at a Ceremony at Canberra Airport. The YSCB Control Tower is visible at rear. (I first photographed this aircraft at Laverton, Victoria in Sep 1964.)
