Low res 'Fish-Eye' lens 'Wing View' of the Markham River Valley - West of Lae, approaching Nadzab Airfield. Photo taken 'In Flight' between Lae Airport and Mt Hagen Airport, aboard RAAF 38Sqn Det A Caribou A4-264 (based at Port Moresby). The Port side Pratt and Whitney 1450HP R-2000 Twin Row Wasp engine is distorted in this 'wide angle' view. (No Port Noise complaint!) A4-264 (Delivered May1968, Callsign VM-JMQ) later crashed at Camden NSW, on 04July1986. Apologies for quality of this 1975 photo.
