No longer we will be able to see, these Convair-440 colors, in the preserved airplane at the Malaga Air Museum. At this moment, already it is receiving undercoat of white painting. Shortly it will take the libery of the Kar Air company; to commemorate the 50 anniversary of the first Finnish tourists flight, to the Costa del Sol. The inagural flight, landed the 20 October of 1959 in Malaga, after eight hours of trip. The “route of the Sun”, as were baptized it, left from Helsinki and made scale in Gotemburgo, Luxembourg and Barcelona before landing in the Malaga Airport.
