Sussex-based freight carrier MK Airlines resumed operations in May 2008 having been in administration. It operates a fleet of 747-200 and DC-8-62 from an operating hub at Ostend-Bruges and serves numerous destinations worldwide with an emphasis on routes out of Africa. It has a maintenance centre at Filton. This 747 is seen outside the Chevron aircraft maintenance centre at Kemble.
