Notes:

I went to Regatta Point, Canberra, to see the local Australian Citizenship Ceremony (attended by the Governor General and Prime Minister) on 26Jan2009, Australia Day. The ceremony ended at 1034 hrs with a four-ship Hornet Flypast and 'Formation Break', over Lake Burley Griffin. The formation was led by Hornet A21-48 in 77 Sqn livery, which then pulled up and departed vertically. The number four aircraft (A21-56) passed overhead at around 400 meters, at 650 kph. These Hornet pilots would have practised similar 'Formation Breaks' during Basic Flying Training - in CT-4 Airtrainers. (See Photo ID 6537353).
