Notes:

Rare low res view of ex-RAAF Sabre A94-948 (Cn CA27-48), which was Delivered to the RAAF in Oct 1956, and transferred to the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) in Nov 1971 as FM-1948. (Sabres were flown by the RMAF from 1969 to 1976, after being donated to Malaysia by the Australian Government.) FM-1948 is shown freshly re-painted in non-standard Camouflage livery, at Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) Base Butterworth in 1982. This aircraft, with tail detached, was being prepared (for the Sultan of Johore) for static display in Johore. The Sabre, wearing toned-down camouflage livery, is now mounted on a pole next to the Sultan's polo field / airstrip close to Pasir Pelangi Palace, Johore. (Location : 1°28'55.61"N, 103°47'2.00"E). Apologies for the quality of this 1982 photo.
