Sad to see these kind of images, but now don't get the idea aviation is getting more risky, in fact it's rather the opposite of that. From the billions of people who took a flight in 2008 only 502 have lost their lives. The year before that number was 692. The chance on fatalities is very small. On every 10.000.000 the chances are that 1,3 suffers from a fatal injury after a crash. It remains sad nontheless.
The past couple years have been really sad for aviation with so many accidents. May the deceased rest in peace.
