Very rare low-res 1974 photo of Lufthansa's Second Boeing 747 on 05Feb1974 - This was my first view of Lufthansa Boeing 747-130 D-ABYB Cn 19747 at Frankfurt, which was to take me to Hong Kong the next day, via Athens, Kuwait, Delhi and Bangkok. Photo taken from taxying Lufthansa Boeing 727 D-ABIW on arrival from Hamburg. D-ABYB (City of Hessen) was the first civil Boeing 747 to crash - on 20Nov1974 at Nairobi Airport Kenya, sadly with the loss of 59 lives (RIP). Apologies for the low quality of this 1974 photo.
