Rare view of nippy Hughes 500C / 369HS VH-BAG (Cn 99-0126S) doing a high speed handling demo at Morninton Racecourse, during a Car Display day in Nov 1971. The helo was first Registered in Australia on 11Feb1970 to Vowell Air Services, which also operated a JetRanger Ambulance helicopter (VH-AAL) for the Ambulance Service of Victoria. VH-BAG was used in Antarctica and took part in the 1986-87 Scientific Expedition to Heard Island. Crashed in New Guinea in 1988, and repaired. Sold to New Zealand in February 1993, becoming ZK-HIA.
