Alitalia Boeing 747-243B I-DEMV Cn 23301 dwarfs parked cars as she taxies by at Sydney Airport YSSY on 10Dec1992. Photo taken from taxying RAAF Boeing 707-338KC Tanker A20-624, after the AAR Tanker carried out a cross-wind landing at Mascot, as part of the AAR modification flight trials. Alitalia's I-DEMB was the First Boeing 747 to land at Canberra Airport YSCB, on 22Nov1977. The plane was transiting YSSY-YMML, and did an emergency diversion after an engine failure. Qantas delivered the replacement engine, doing a '5 Engine' B747 Rescue flight.
