Notes:

The temporary registration can be seen in the windows while Boeing's line number, 2679, is stamped on the green coating in three places along the fuselage. I'm told that the rudder is the only pre-painted component (that presumably now also includes winglets) because of the critical nature of its balancing. The coating provides protection during assembly when the application of millions of rivets in particular can scratch the aluminium surface and it is apparently pressure hosed off before painting. This aircraft became N927WN and was delivered on 22JUL08.
