TAA A300B4-203 VH-TAB Cn 151 (Named 'John Oxley'), climbing out with gear and flaps down, at Canberra Airport on 17Mar1986. The aircraft was Delivered to TAA on 18Aug1981 ex Airbus F-WZME. She had been on static display at the Canberra Day 'Skyfest Airshow', along with new Qantas B767-238(ER) VH-EAN. Both aircraft performed handling displays before departing Canberra airspace. (Neither type normally operated into Canberra.) TAA's First Airbus was appropriately Registered VH-TAA. TAA was later taken over by Qantas. VH-TAB left Qantas service on 28Mar1987, and was leased to Condor as D-AITB. Then she was Sold to TOA in Japan as JA8263.
