Notes:

Rare image of Supermarine Seagull V HD874 under restoration at the RAAF Museum Point Cook on 16Aug2000. The aircraft was one of 24 Seagull Vs acquired by the RAAF from 1939. HD874 was Delivered to the RAAF on 19Sep1943, and was transferred to the Department of External Affairs on 02Oct1947. She was operated by RAAF crews in Antarctica, but she was wrecked in a gale at Heard Island on 05Jan1948. She was recovered and totally rebuilt and is now displayed, fully restored, at the RAAF Museum.
