2 Squadron RNZAF TA-4K Skyhawk 'T-Bird' NZ6255 Cn 13732 was on static display at the RAAF 70th Anniversary Air Display at Richmond on 11Oct1991. The aircraft was previously operated by the RAN as TA-4G N13-154911 (Code 880) until June 1983. Since the withdrawal of Skyhawks (and AerMacchi MB339 Trainers) from the RNZAF Inventory, New Zealand no longer has 'Fast Jet' Capability. (I went on a 1.3 hour flight in RAN TA-4G N13-154647 Code 878 from Amberley on 31Aug1977.) Apologies for chain barrier in foreground.
