As soon as you enter the terminal at Vancouver you are immediately presented with the British Columbian feel of warmth, care to detail, and hospitality. Everthing is extremely clean, clean enough to rival some Japanese airports! The facilities are excellent and the decor is great, in this picture we can see two totem poles, which are traditional to the Northwestern coast of North America, greeting visitors as they arrive at immigration and cascading levels of water running down pebbles. Behind me is a feature waterfall which passes over a large carved wooden piece. On the whole Vancouver has a fantastic and friendly airport, just don't look for a friend in an Immigration Officer!!
