Notes:

This mighty transport aircraft flew into the then active RAF airfield at Hendon in 1968, for preservation. In a sad saga however, it was scrapped there in March 1990, the RAF/the museum having allowed it to deteriorate to such an extent (allegedly) that it had to be scrapped. This dreadful act took place outside the doors of the museum-a fine impression for visitors! As a consequence, there is now only one Beverley left and that is not in the hands of the RAF-and a good thing too.
