Fokker could not wait for the F-50 fuselage so they toke a F-27 fuselage put F-50 eniges on it, tail, wings, and nose. Painted it and there you go, a F-50 ! Don´t believe me ? Look at the nose and spot the Cargo door and the oval shaped remaining of the F-27 window behind the Fokker logo.
