This airfield is located on shore of the Baltic Sea in the northeast of Germany. The artificial island in front of the runway kept navigation aids as this field was used by the former Soviet Army and the former Air Force of ‘East Germany’ (German Democratic Republic (GDR)). At present only visual approaches are possible.
