Notes:

This Gnat is preserved near the control tower (from the roof of which this picture was taken) in Red Arrows colours and commemorates the fact that Kemble was the base for the Red Arrows during the fifteen years the team operated the type. This aeroplane actually flew with 4 FTS at RAF Valley rather than the Reds, whose aircraft were very rarely fitted with the long range underwing slipper tanks shown here.
