Notes:

This is the Nakajima Ki-43 Hayabusa. As far as I know it is the only one that has flown in the past 50 years. It was totally rebuilt from the ground up by the Texas Airplane Factory. This was it's last flight to date. It made one successful flight a few days before. This is the second and last time it's landing gear buckled during takeoff. As you can see the engine is still warm.
