This aircraft started life with an air taxi company in Germany in 1977 before going to Atlantic Air Transport in the UK a year later. After a spell at a parachute club in Dundee, it went to another parachute club at Cockerham in Lancashire. It has now been gifted to the Museum by Mr George Cormack of Cormack Aircraft Services Limited. Loganair took over the contract for the Scottish Ambulance Service in 1973. 22 babies were born on various Islander aircraft apparently!! Nice colour.
