With the sun setting the Monroe County Sherriffs Bell UH-1H departs the IFC ramp headed back south. This aircraft once served in Vietnam, date 11-11-1967 with the 335 AHC ( Assualt Helicopter Company ). The a/c was enroute on a logistics mission for resupply to a forward area, the a/c sustained small arms fire was struck in the cockpit area, systems damaged unknown. The aircraft and crew continued flight and managed to accomplish all mission objectives. Ahhh the sweet sound of an Iroquois!
