Ever wondered how dose a Rocket assisted take off work well here is a good example This system was first invented and used to great affect by Germany during WW2 (World War 2) and later the Americans it's idea how ever was originally a solution to getting Bombers airborne quickly and from short runways or airfields although got to be spectacular for the pilot as he leans forward at a 45 degree angle of attack got to make sure that when you pull of this procedure/movement that you don't exceed 45 degrees else you'll stall and crash or are too heavy PS- It was also used to great affect during Vietnam war to great affect for ferrying supplies to remote air felids Usually under heavy fighter escort as with out it in a war zone your a sitting duck!!!

Well, a very deserving picture of the week. Got it all - vortices on the propellers, the gear still out, rockets burning, excellent crop and composition (plane on the diagonal axis). Well exposed and sharp, too. That's how professional pictures should look, compliments.
