C/n 14. The final landing ever for this aircraft as it belly lands on runway 9R (now 9). The crew called in with a bad gear indication and ARFF was standing by for the landing. I'll never forget the eerie sound of so much metal sliding down the asphalt for a considerable distance. The aircraft was delivered new to Seaboard World as N124SW on July 13, 1961. It was later flown by Flying Tiger Line, Cargolux and Trans Mediterranean. It was scrapped at MIA a couple of years later.
