Comments
No, the Red Cross is not for medical. The iarplane is privately owned and was at Indy flying light parts and transport duties for the owner's Air Cargo operation. The colors are that of the Royal Navy and are the colors worn by the aircraft as an Admiral's Barge in the RN's Royal Flight. Last I heard aircraft was on display at the Museum of Flight in Seattle on at least a part-time basis.
The aircraft is possibly transporting a heart or some other organ for transplant. Note the red cross on the open door of the aircraft.
