"RYANAIR 804 NOVEMBER" operating flight FR598 from Malaga (AGP / LEMG) is seen arriving 43 minutes earlier on runway 08L at Bucharest OTP. This aircraft caught my attention when it was approaching due to the abundance of small white dots on the rear section of the fuselage behind the wing. I later learned these were 'stickers' used to mark scratches on the fuselage. This aircraft was involved in an incident on October 1st, 2024 when it blew all tires during landing at Milano Bergamo (BGY/ LIME). The airport was closed for several hours, as the aircraft was obviously "stuck" on the runway, and about 450 meters of the runway were affected. When publications started reporting this incident, a heated online debate emerged—not about the event itself, but over the airport's name. Some insisted it should be referred to as 'Orio al Serio' or simply 'Bergamo Airport,' arguing that including 'Milano' in the name was misleading. As if that was the real issue...
