"SPIRIT WINGS 264" operating flight NK264 to Burbank (BUR / KBUR) is seen departing runway 1R in front of the Luxor Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Quite amazing to believe, but the Luxor Hotel, built in 1993, is much lower in height than the Great Pyramid of Giza, which was built many many years ago. I took this photo on Oct 13, 2023, and the Luxor opened on Oct 15th, 1993, which means at the time of photographing, the hotel was just 2 days short of celebrating its 30th birthday. Notice the Spring Mountains Range in the background.
