Rare monsoonal moisture in the Bay Area made a rainbow at Sunset. Rainbows at sunset appear red for the same reason sunsets are red - the green and blue rays are weakened by scattering through thicker atmosphere. In this moment the Sun is already down, but bright clouds to our west made for some soft but vibrant lighting.
