It was quite a surprise to see this fighter at the Miramar Air Show. The former 493rd Grim Reaper jet is now in service with the 144th Fighter Wing of the California Air National Guard, based at Fresno Air National Guard Base. This aircraft has an air combat victory mark from the Gulf War in 1991 when it shot down an Iraqi Air Force Su-22M.
