This Phantom was the 1st pre-production Rolls Royce Spey powered Phantom, rolling off the McDonnell St. Louis assembly line in late 1966. She would spend her entire flying career as a test bird and would be the final Phantom to fly in RAF service. Truly amazing this aircraft was found and is being restored by the British Phantom Aviation Group. I am a sucker for the Raspberry Ripple scheme and can't wait to see this bird restored fully to her former glory in the future!
