Not yet halfway through our SEA-FAI flight, just crossed the British Colombia-Alaska border. Summer is not best the time to see auroras at this latitude (bright twilight) but tonight there was a minor geomagnetic storm and the northern lights got active enough to be visible through this late July twilight in southern Alaska.
