Australians commemorated the 108th Anzac Day on 25Apr2023. In Canberra, the Anzac Day Parade and Marchpast was at the Australian War Memorial. The Ceremony was opened at 0932 hrs by a flypast by RAAF 37 Squadron C-130J-30 A97-468 Cn 382-5468 Code 68 from Richmond YSRI – passing over Lake Burley Griffin (from West Basin), near Questacon, beside Anzac Parade and past the Australian War Memorial (AWM). The Hercules is shown over Lake Burley Griffin, turning North before passing the old Anzac Park West Offices. [The aircraft’s crew ‘broke tradition’ by not passing over Anzac Parade - directly between Mount Ainslie lookout and Australia’s Parliament Houses - during this Anzac Day Flypast. Hence no ‘head-on’ images of A97-468 with the Parliament Houses as background.]
